EVENT DATES: June 7-9th, 2019.
I have begun my annual campaign to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Cystic Fibrosis, or CF, is a genetic disease affecting the lungs and digestive systems of children and adults. Thick mucus creates problems breathing, causes life threatening lung infections and interferes with absorbing nutrients from a healthy diet. The life expectancy of a person living with CF has dramatically increased since Trail Ride originated. It has increased from 18 years of age (1980) to over 40 years of age today. I want to ensure research to cure CF continues and “CF” stands for “CURE FOUND!”
The trail ride is sponsored by the Merrimack Valley Trail Riders and is one of the CF Foundation’s major fund raising efforts in 2019. Our ride donated $108,000.00 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2018, (with ninety cents of every dollar going directly to CF research).
Please consider a tax-deductible contribution to help brighten the future of thousands of children and adults who live with this disease.
